# It asks what you like and who you match

The test asks what you like, and then it asks who here would match you. It takes a few minutes. Nobody else sees your answers unless you decide to show them, and you can stop at any point.

## A few minutes, and you can stop

It is short on purpose. You can put it down part way through and nothing is published, because nothing about the test is published unless you choose to show it. There is no timer, no score to beat and no question you are forced to answer. Skipping something is allowed and it does not spoil the result: the result simply says less, which is honest, rather than guessing at the part you did not answer.

## What the questions are actually like

They ask what you like, how strongly, and in what kind of setting. They are about the thing itself rather than about you: not your name, not your job, not your history, and never a photograph. There is no question that needs a personal detail to answer, so a full set of answers still does not identify anybody. If a question does not apply to you, that is one of the answers.

## The first question is the simple one

Do you lead, do you follow, do you like both, or do you not know yet? That is the first thing you answer, and you are allowed to say you do not know. That counts as a real answer and it is not treated as a gap. Everything after it follows what you picked, so somebody who leads is not asked a run of questions written for somebody who follows.

## Your gender decides nothing here

The test never uses your gender to choose what to ask you, and never uses it to choose what to offer you. A man can follow. A woman can lead. Either can do both. What sets the path is your own first answer, and you set that answer yourself. Nothing is assumed from anything else you have filled in anywhere on this site.

## Who here would match you

The second half is about fit rather than taste. What you answered is compared with what other people answered, and you are told what kind of person matches what you said, and where the two of you would not fit. That last part is the useful half. A match is a starting point for a conversation, not a recommendation and not a promise about anybody.

## The result is yours, and stays yours

Taking the test publishes nothing. Your answers do not appear on your profile, no list shows anybody what you picked, and no search uses them. If you want somebody to see your result you show it to them yourself, one person at a time, and you can stop showing it afterwards. Nobody is told that you took it and nobody is told that you did not.

## Answer differently tomorrow and get a different result

You can take it again whenever you like. A result is what you said on one day, so it is expected to move as you learn what you actually want. Nothing is locked in by having answered once, and an old result does not follow you around. People often find the second time more useful than the first, because by then they know what the questions are getting at.

## It diagnoses nothing

This is not a medical test and it is not a personality test. No doctor and no psychologist stands behind it. It says nothing about your health, your mind or your past, and it cannot tell you that anything about you is wrong or unusual. A result only repeats what you told it today, arranged so it is easier to read back.
